from Brian Eno's A Year with Swollen Appendices. It's kind of obscure and hard to find and I have it out from the library, so I thought people here might be interested in some of the U2 stuff. The book is a diary that Eno kept around 1994-1995 and published in 1996, and the U2 portions cover working on the Passengers collaboration. If this isn't kosher to post, let me know and I'll delete. I figured someone might find some plot bunnies or characterization details... if there's interest I'll post more.

Challenge on hold

Due to family health reasons, I'm putting the challenges on hold for the next while. Hopefully it'll only be a few weeks until things return to somewhat normal, but I don't want to set a date just yet. I'll be working out a system to determine the Challenge Challenge #2 winner and will be emailing all of those in the running sometime this week.

Anyone can still post challenge responses, of course, but I won't be posting any new challenges for the next little while. Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to them (if there are indeed any of you).
