This is officially the end of Challenge #38: Adam . See all entries here. Thanks to all of those who completed this challenge or will do in the future!

I was doing a bit of thinking about April Fools Day, and in a way, it's a day of deception (hopefully temporary and non-malicious). You make someone think, briefly, that something that is false is in fact true. In honor of this nebulous holiday, this next challenge is all about deceit. Someone is being lied to. Do they find out? What happens when they do? Is it something BIG? If they never find out, what happens to those involved? What are the thought processes behind lying to those you love and love you? Not exactly the cheeriest of challenges, but I figured it was time for a bit of drama. Of course this could always be done with some humor in mind, though it's not tailor-made for that. This challenge is to end at 1159pm PST on April 21st. Good luck to all!

Now to the Challenge Challenge #2. As you may or may not know, it is currently a four-way tie! [livejournal.com profile] southpaw526, [livejournal.com profile] pop_daisy, [livejournal.com profile] clandestine269, and [livejournal.com profile] melissa2u all have one point each. There is only one prize, so I figured I would extend the Challenge Challenge until April 21st. If there is still no clear winner at that point, I will come up with a tie-breaker of some kind. Remember, you can always go back into the memories and finish one of the past challenges. Happy writing!
