Challenge #29: The Naked Interview

The next challenge is actually sort of near and dear to my heart. Since we were doing the remix challenge during the anniversary of this, I thought now would be the best time to bring it up... The famous Naked Interview took place on June 25th, 20 years ago this year. It is one of my favorite U2 interviews ever and if you haven't heard it, do yourself a favor. This is a link to an awesome recording of the interview (the second part plays immediately after the first part finishes, you don't have to do anything!), and this is a link to download a Word document of a transcript of the interview in case you need clarification or to make sure of the speaker (just scroll down to the link with the red arrow next to the words "download link"). (I got the interview from this site and tweaked it to get it as near to accurate as I could.) I bolded my favorite slashy bits and made a note in one place in italics. Some of the transcript has bits that aren't in the audio, and I'm willing to bet that there are bits of the audio that aren't in the transcript, but it's pretty close to accurate.
[Awesome thing is at the end of the transcript, which was a quote from an interview with the interviewer years later: "Update! In a Hot Press interview with Dave Fanning dated 02 Apr 2003 (you can read it on Hotpress.com if you're registered):
OT: Tell me about the famous nude interview?
DF: We were all nude except for underpants. I think only Adam was completely naked. The head of radio came in because at that time they were quite big and he looked in and he was stunned. There in his own radio station are five people drinking live on air naked. It was a bit of a sight for him, I can tell you (laughs)."]
Anyroad, essentially, the challenge is to write a fic that either takes place during the interview or as a result of the interview, or explains something about the interview. Just take the interview and run with it. If you need any clarification or anything feel free to comment or email me at my username at gmail.
As always, any suggestions for future challenges can be emailed to me as well. This challenge is due at 1159pm PST on Monday August 13th.
