We can confirm the rumour that Adam Clayton is engaged to Canadian girlfriend, Susie Smith. The couple, who have been together for 10 years, are due to marry next year.

I am pleased to announce that The Processor has been completely revised and updated!

I've streamlined the interface, so it's easier to navigate and looks better on all monitors; I've fixed broken links, removed expired links, and added new ones; I also corrected typos, and just generally made the site more awesome. You'll also find a new discussion in the Commentary section.

The only problem is, all the old-school authors are over-represented on the Processor. It would be nice to have more authors on the page who are still actually writing!

I would love it if the new-school writers would throw their hats in the ring. inklingfair, espereth, clandestine269, lydia_petze, bonoffee, slowdancinglove, I'm looking at you. o_O Please, ladies, write me an abstract of your work and a link to a sample fic, like the ones that are already on the site. I also encourage you to look up the old discussions and throw your two cents in, particularly discussions like "My First Time" and "Characterization."

And what about Hawkmoon? There is not one word about what is probably the biggest ongoing U2 slash fic project. Won't someone please think of Hawkmoon? You know what I'd really like to see, are "Cliff's Notes" for it. :)

Time for the next challenge! Whoot. This one is sort of selfishly inspired (OMG I CAN READ PORN ON THE BUS AGAIN!), but I thought it'd be fun all the same. Here's the thing:

Our boys spend large amounts of their time in transit, going from here to there and back again. Whether it's on a bus, a plane, a car, a train, a donkey (hey, we've all seen those pictures of Bono...), whatever, we've seen it.

So. This week's challenge: play with transportation. Whether they're on it, planning it, stuck in it. Have fun.

Fics will be due by midnight MST on April 24, 2006.
