A/N: Thank you to k2g for the impeccable beta. The original version of this was written almost a year ago - it was shorter, second person POV and, in my head, a different pairing - Rowan (aka hippyjolteon) looked it over for me and made me see it in a different light. She passed away shortly after and I think that's the main reason I never finished it. The other being that I know fuck all about this pairing. At any rate, this is dedicated to her for making me ship them at all.
