Author's notes: Touch the Flame part 3. Exit takes off where Revelation ended, and if you haven't read the earlier parts and/or chapters, I suggest you do so first, or this will not make any sense. Please note that in this chapter, I'm taking liberties with the historical context, deliberately using a scene that did not occur within the timeline of this chapter. My defence in doing so is that it fits too well into the plot of this story to be left out. After all, this is a fictional story. I'm very grateful to pop_daisy for her bravery to take on this tremendous project - I could never have done it without you! Please read and any comments are very much appreciated.
