Challenge #30: U2 As...

So, this brings an end to Challenge #29: The Naked Interview. Clandestine's fic is located here as she's the only one yet to do it. Any entries will of course be added to that list if/when they're posted.

The newest challenge... well, it's kind of a weird one, and hopefully I can explain it right. If you need clarification or think it's just plain dumb, let me know! Have you ever thought, "What if Bono and Edge were Butch and Sundance?" (Which would be which, do you think?) or "Adam and Larry were Thelma and Louise?"? Well, now's your chance to elaborate on that whim. Take any fictional source (movie, television show or novel) and insert U2 into it. It's not a crossover in the strict sense, so much as snagging settings and ideas from the source and plopping U2 into it. Please don't feel obligated to have a crossover slash pairing or to include the entire story from the original source. (Haha.) How would the story be different if it were Bono and Larry or, hell, the entire band, in the same situation/location/time period? Or would it be the same, only with Irish accents and more bad jokes? It's up to you!

I'm actually a bit nervous about this one because it's so weird (to me, at least), so let me know if it works or doesn't so I can tailor future challenges accordingly. Thanks!
