Challenge #26: Words Times Two

Thank you to those of you who did the Bad Fic challenge! Both entries are memorified here, and are totally awesome and hilarious. Go read them now if you haven't already. And any of you who haven't had time/inspiration, feel free to post your response any time.
Now, the next challenge. I thought it was about time to have another go of the word challenge style. Obviously using different words, but this time I have two sets of words for you. 6 words in each group (two nouns, two adjectives and two verbs), and you can only do one group or the other. Picking and choosing from both lists is a no no, though if you could do BOTH lists in their entirety, that's allowed. List 1: ear, promise, asinine, electrifying, twist and appease. List 2: belt, nail polish, rosy, petulant, careen and flop. The verbs can be used in any tense, and the nouns in plural form or not, that's up to you. (And don't blame me, I took a poll on my personal LJ for word suggestions without revealing the purpose; so these words were chosen by my friends list, not me. Ha!)
Responses are due at 1159pm on April 30th. As always if you have any questions or suggestions for future challenges, feel free to email me. It's still this username at gmail.
