A/N: I'm finally posting this after sitting on it for, ooh, about six months. I had to make sure it was right. I think it is, at least to me. It's the first in what will probably end up being a little series. I like writing snapshots of how they might have been, once upon a time, and that's really what this is, on this occasion in the baby!U2 era.
