wonderment...

Hi all,
I've just been told there's a new Creative Writing module beginning at my university next term and if I wanted I could try to get a place. To do so I have to hand in an example of my work. I was just wondering if anyone would ever hand in any of their stuff from here? Slash is about all I write these days but I don't see why that should stop it being appreciated (not saying I'm any good, haha, but a course might be fun and help me to get rid of writer's block... here's hoping!). I was considering something like my fic Red, which is quite abstract and doesn't mention either Bono or Edge's names, so really it could be anyone and not necessarily U2. I'm not sure if I'd have to 'confess' my slashing in class but it's not that I'm ashamed by what I write, it's just whether others would find it acceptable for a uni setting. I think writers are usually fairly open-minded as long as it's not downright offensive, and I wouldn't submit any porn (awwwwwww!) but, y'know. Putting myself out there.
What do you guys think? Would you go for it at least and the worst that she can say is no? *frets*
