just a quick moddish note:

the thing i love about this comm is that there is so little modding needed. no one is a jerk. there's zero flaming and i love that so much. and we've been active lately! yes! keep posting that fic, guys, it's been great to see.

one thing though, that bothers me. and if you're a member of this community, then it has absolutely nothing to do with you, so don't worry. but i've been getting a TON of requests to join lately that either don't have birthdays listed or are obviously sockpuppets and/or trolls.

so for everyone lurking around here and wanting to join, i will not add you unless you have your birthday listed on your userinfo page. i just won't. i hate to sound like a hard-ass about this, but that's the way it is. also, it looks a lot better if you have more friends listed than lj_maintenance and news, yannow? that's just a troll alert.

thanks for putting up with me, guys. you all rock the casbah.
