first week sum-up

Yo, yo.

Just popping in to let everyone know that you've all got a little over ten hours to get your fics in for the Red Challenge. (Sounds like a fair amount of time when you put it that way, don't it? Heh.) Fics are all here for your perusal.

I'll be putting up the second challenge here in an hour or two, but I'd like everyone to take a look at the guidelines yet again as I've done a little bit of clarifying and such. If you don't feel like wasting time clicking (and I don't blame you), I'll just briefly sum up here.

1] As I stated before, I'm not going to say no to fics that are posted after the deadline. However, what I AM going to do is say that all fics posted late will not be memorified in the challenge category. This does NOT mean I'm not memorifying the fic at all (it'll still be memorified under 'author' and 'pairing'), it just won't be included in the category of that particular challenge. Does that all make sense?

2] Are mutliple fics accepted for each challenge? Yes. I've you've more than one idea, by all means, we'd love to see them all! Just again, make sure they're in by the deadline. :D

Lastly, I just want to say that I'm so incredibly excited by how well this has gone down so far and I hope it continues. The fics are fantastic and entertaining and I want to thank all of you for participating. I so love our fandom.

challenge #2: five kisses

Alright, this idea I'm sort of borrowing (with permission, I promise!) from pearl_o who started a meme of the same name. Basically, her idea was to write five short scenes, each one featuring a kiss and all linking to the same pairing.

For our purposes, I'm going to make a bit broader. If you want to mix pairings, go for it. If you want to mix genders, go for it. If you want to mix years and eras and hairstyles, go for it. Just make sure it fits the them of Five Kisses.

All fics are due in by Monday, February, 27th at midnight.
