Hi everyone,

While some of you that we've contacted today know about this already, and we're still in the process of contacting more authors, Amy ([livejournal.com profile] jigofspite) and I ([livejournal.com profile] evieangelique) would like to tell the rest of this lovely community about the new U2 slash archive that we're setting up.

http://www.stories-for-boys.net

The site isn't live as of yet, but we intend to make this more than just a fanfiction archive - making resources available to assist writers and readers of U2 slash alike.

A bit about the site and answering questions you may have. )

Title: Fallen Angels
Author: [livejournal.com profile] drummergroupie
Pairing: E/A this part
Rating: PG-13 for suggestiveness and bad language.
Disclaimer: Fiction = not real. I'm not getting paid for this.

I'd very much like to get an opinion on this one. It's an AU. Nothing like Hawkmoon, sorry, I'm not that good. But I hope you like it. :D I'd really just like to know if you'd be interested in reading the rest, really. Or if it's any good. So I need constructiveness for this one. But any and all comments are nice. The real plot isn't started until the second part, so... Yeah. I put them together to save you some clickage. :D

I'm looking to improve my u2 knowledge and characterization but also try to find a way of writing more authentic-sounding dialogue. I would be extremely grateful to hear from people who can point me in the direction of sites that have video files of interviews with the band, particularly the Edge.

FIC. Yes.

Backstory: Yes, okay, so when a large number of U2slashers were staying in my flat in Dublin, the eventual scenario of 'Wouldn't it be funny if Baby!U2 lived in modern days in my flat' came up. I blame [livejournal.com profile] brunerhyme and [livejournal.com profile] shihadchick. Anyway, someone couldn't let that idea lie, and it appears I'm now writing a flat!miniseries or something. Mostly it's a chance for me to run a little bit imagination wild, and I hope you don't mind the results. The first in the series was Voyeur, and now I bring to you Over Exposure. It's built on one of my [new] favourite phrases - Spend long enough in a barbers, and you'll end up with a haircut.

Starring Edge, Bono, Gavin, Guggi and a smidge of implied Adam/ Larry. PG for mentioned naughty bits.

Enjoy.

Edge wouldn't have minded so much if they were paying rent. )
