01] I'm sure some have noticed already, but currently LIB is down. We have no idea when it'll be up again as money is quite tight and unfortunately, it does cost a fair amount to keep the site up and running. Hopefully, we can have it there in the next few weeks or so, but like I said, there's no telling. Sadly, rent, groceries and the cost of you know, living, comes ahead of our lovely pr0n sanctuary.

03] Again, this has been said (many many many times) before and is also clearly stated on the info page, but you must be 18 years of age to joinu2slash. Of course, we can't knock on anyone's door and demand picture ID or anything, so we go by your userinfo page. If the year on that makes you too young or isn't on there at all, you aren't accepted. It's as simple as that. We don't go poking through your journal for clues about your age as a.) we'd hate to be real bitches about this, b.) we don't have nearly enough time and c.) frankly, it's rude. So, if you've tried to become a member of this community and been turned down, we can guarantee you it's due to your userinfo page and not because we have something personal against you. Honest. Cross our hearts and hope to die.
04] We'd like to take this opportunity to announce that everyone's favourite gay cowboys now have their own special place in the memories. Thought it'd be nice to have them all in one centralized, easy-to-find location. Yee-haw. You'll notice it there just below the crossover section. And speaking of crossovers...
05] We've noticed that this seems to be a recent debate that's sprung up around here so we thought we'd address it real quick-like.u2slash policy may seem a little 'loose' to what some people may prefer in that we accept and encourage any slash that includes at least one member of U2. Hence, the reason we have a 'crossover' section at all. We understand that neither Gavin Friday nor Guggi were ever members of the band and so there's a bit of (understandable) reluctance to include fics that are exclusively Gavin/Guggi, which is why there actually IS no category for that pairing in the memories. HOWEVER. Since both Gavin and Guggi are such prominent members (heh) of the U2 universe, we'd really rather stay lenient on this point than become Slash Nazis over it. Just remember that this community is u2slash and thus, the people reading are expecting Bono, Larry, Edge and Adam in there having hotgaysex somewhere.
06] Lastly, and certainly not least: We are so thrilled to see the surge of fics lately, many of which are very very good, if not excellent. It's so great to know that our little community is thriving nearly three years after its inception. Warms the heart, it does. Keep it up! (Literally, please.)
