PSA from your friendly neighborhood community manager:

I dunno how often (or if) the members of this community look at the community info page, so I figure every so often I'll post it, just to remind people of LIB's archiving policy, etc.


Archiving Policy

One: Send your stories to webmaster [at] loveisblindness [dot] net as plain text (.txt) files. It's just easier that way. Also, please designate italics and underlining etc. with *asterisks* and _underscores_.

Two: Please rate your stories according to the MPAA's rating system.

Three: Please include a header in your stories. Headers include title, author, rating, archive, and disclaimer (i.e. "Fiction = Not Real").

Four: The archive line must read "yes to LIB" or something like that. Just don't tell me "yes, but e-mail me first."

Five: I'm currently not accepting works in progress (WIPs). If you have something you'd like to send but is unfinished, please finish it first, and then send it. I'll be happy to post it once it's done.

Six: new point Please designate an e-mail address to be linked for feedback, or tell me if you'd rather not have your e-mail posted due to privacy.


This policy is also posted on the archive site.

Also, a note to community members: we do put all fics that are posted to the community in the community memories, but if you would like a fic to be archived at LIB.net, you must send it to webmaster [at] loveisblindness [dot] net. It's simply easier than having to sift through the fics here, and some people may not want their fics archived, etc.
